Run for Sight - 5km - Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 12:30 p.m.

Uniting Calgary’s Corporate Community

The Run for Sight is an exciting new Calgary 5km run/walk event that will raise awareness and funding for the Foundation Fighting Blindness (FFB) to support eye research and the quest for treatments and cures for inherited, degenerative forms of blindness.

The inaugural Run for Sight will take place on Thursday, September 16, 2010 and will follow a picturesque 5km course along the Bow River, starting and finishing at Eau Claire Park. The unique, weekday run is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. and will engage and unite the Calgary corporate community, similar to the success of Toronto’s Bay Street Rat Race for the United Way.

More than just a run, the Run for Sight will be your chance to get out for a fun mid-day workout while directly supporting a worthy cause that impacts so many families in communities in Calgary and all across Canada.
