This session will be a refreshing change. Meet others living with vision loss who can relate and share experiences. Come make new friends from across Canada! |

Championing for Your Needs Successfully Alissa Ulster, Social Worker, The Hospital for Sick Children School, work, and social life can be difficult at times when you’re losing your sight – but you can make it much easier on yourself. This session gives you tips on how to get what you need from schools, employers, and friends and family. This knowledge will help you open doors to new opportunities. A Look on the Bright Side (Panel Discussion) Moderator – Alissa Ulster, Social Worker, The Hospital for Sick Children Panel Guests to be announced. The panelists will be young adults and professionals living with vision loss and will share stories of how they overcame challenges, in school and at work, to achieve and succeed. Will include a Q&A discussion with panel and Alissa Ulster. |

Technology: How it can make your life easier Tracy McNamee, Humanware Whether it’s for school, fun or work – technology is quickly become everyone’s best friend. This is especially true if your vision is impaired. This session allows you to participate in live demonstrations in the latest technology available for you at any stage in your changing eyes. |
