February 17, 2010 - On Saturday, February 13, 430 guests gathered at Paradise Banquet & Convention Centre for a magical evening. The food was plentiful and exquisite. The attendees were all enthusiastic to participate in the various activities and assist in supporting the success of the event. Many thanks go to the sponsors who graciously donated items for the silent auction, raffle and door prizes. A special thanks goes out to all those who attended. The money raised will go to fund groundbreaking vision research through the Foundation Fighting Blindness, which funds research at hospitals and universities across Canada to find treatments and cures for genetic types of blindness.
This fundraiser was made possible by a dedicated committee who worked tirelessly to ensure its success.
Vince and Rosa Lombardi are the founders of this incredible event, which raised close to $100,000 for vision research since it began. The Foundation would like to thank the Lombardi family and their organizing committee for their drive and passion over the years.
