FFB Ambassadors: see how they are making a difference.

Thank you to everyone who has given a gift to the 31 Days of December Challenge in support of vision research!

January 04, 2010

Your support, in addition to the $25,000 from CBCs Battle of the Blades, will help push eye research forward in 2010. New research funding is determined by donations received this year.  That means, to fund more promising research next year, we must do as much as we can to support research by the end of this year.

Any donations received prior to January 15th will receive a 2009 tax receipt.

Together we’re giving hope to more than one million Canadians living with vision loss, like Livya, who was born blind due to a genetic eye disease called Lebers congenital amaurosis (LCA).  Livya’s big sister, Kylie pictured above with Livya, hopes that one day Livya will be able to see just like her.  Your online donation today will help The Foundation Fighting Blindness fund research today to test new treatments to help Livya and so many others.

Thank you again to everyone who has given to eye research!

Happy New Year and all the best for 2010,
Jodeyne Higgins and Ken Daneyko
